Comment Spam

    Almost every time I comment on another persons post, my comment vanishes and cannot be seen. After I got in contact with some of the people whose posts I commented on via twitter I found out my comment had been marked as spam. This keeps happening when it really shouldn’t, the site seems to think I’m a bot. Please tell me how to fix this because it’s getting tedious now.

    Hi @averagejoe26, sorry to hear that. Head over to https://akismet.com/contact/ , type “spam” and you’ll get a list of a few related FAQs followed by a contact form.

    Fill out the contact form and the Akismet team will see if they can figure out why you’re being marked as spam. Be sure to tell them which sites you were marked as spam on. You can reference this post as well, because we had to unspam it.
