  My nudist friends wishes to post comments on my blog but it is asking for them to sign in on Gravatar or WordPress. They do not have any accounts and do not wish to set one up. All they want to do is make a comment. Is there a bug. I’ve looked at the settings and cannot find out why they cannot. Please look into this and fix for me. I am not technically minded so simple basic answers would be helpful

  No this isn’t a bug. You can change those settings yourself at https://wordpress.com/support/comments/#who-can-comment

  My guess is your friend actually does have a Gravatar already. If they’re willing, could you have them post here so we can check? Or (again if they’re okay with it) you could share the email address: if you’ll type it here it will be hidden from public view so only staff can see it. And we can use that to look for more information.
