Commenting on other blogs

  I am trying to leave a comment on a blog, (http://rachelabbottwriter.wordpress.com/2013/02/05/a-champagne-moment-indie-author-turns-traditional/), but it keeps giving me an error message: ERROR: The password you entered for the email or username johnmountford613611309 is incorrect. Lost your password?
  It rejects any possible password I enter, and the blog comments section wont allow me to bypass the WordPress log in, it seems, and just allow me to input my own details. Everytime I do this it takes me to the WordPress log in, and the problem starts all over. What password is it asking for?

  Try logging out of your wordpress.com account then when it asks you for an email, put an extra character on it.

  I have some guidelines on my own blog for what to do when this sort of thing happens, that might help. It’s for problems commenting on my blog, but equally you can apply it to any other wordpress.com blog:
