We are having trouble making comments publicly viewable, although we have checked off all the boxes that we needed to (going off of previous posts). Even when we manually approve comments, they do not show up on the site

Hi there,
The only sites I see on your @raratencollegeharvardedu WordPress.com account when I check on our end are listed here:
– vocarium.wordpress.com
However, according to our records this site was set up 7 years ago and then not really used since then. It does not appear to have any recent content, and no blog posts currently.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login that we are not able to see? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Yes, thank you so much. We are using http://www.woodberrypoetryroom.com now, although for some reason I could only log in using this email attached to the vocarium.wordpress site.
The new one (called stylus) is the one that has been giving us trouble

Thanks for clarifying. We can’t help directly because we don’t host woodberrypoetryroom.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host (Siteground) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. The good news though is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks over in the open-source forums are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help, thanks!
