  Hi,
  I am trying to get the comments box to display so my readers can leave me feedback but it won’t work. Checked through settings and enabled all that seemed relevant but it still isn’t working. I am a first time blogger and my fans are really frustrated please help.

  Here is information on how to enable comments on the post that you have already:

  And here is information on how to enable comments on all future posts:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments-for-future-posts/

  Looks like you set up your setting correctly, but you do not see comment box on your first post because you adjusted settings after you made that post. If you follow the first link, you should be able to activate comments for that particular post. You should be set for all future posts.
