Comments are not so closed

    One of my posts did not allow comments. Yet someone managed to comment (I don’t know how) and now the post is open to comments. How’s that? Might be a bug, or my password has been cracked?

    Can you please give a link to the post in question so we can check?

    If someone was able to comment, it means comments were open at the time they did that. If comments were closed there wouldn’t be any comment form on the post to use to submit a comment.

    The act of commenting on a post cannot toggle comments between open or closed.
