Comments blocked

  Suddenly I am unable to comment on any WordPress blogs. One blogger, a personal friend, investigated and informed me that I seem to be blocked as a spammer centrally at WordPress. I have never posted a spam comment in my life, and my friends certainly wouldn’t report me for spam, so I wonder how I can go about regaining my ability to comment on my friends’ blogs.

  Hi Alan, please contact Akismet (our anti-spam service) directly, filling out the form that will appear when you type “spam” in the text field, and choosing “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake” from the selections:
