Comments disappearing

I recently posted an article and received 4 or five comments on. Two I answered–129 comments registered this morning then suddenly I was down to 122. All comments on the new post disappeared and a couple from other posts. ???? Also, my answers to comments disappeared.
I didn’t accidentally disable comments, they’re not in my trash, and spam isn’t showing up with them either. I’ve noticed other users having the same issues–please help.

I don’t notice anyone else at all stating comments have disappeared from their dashboard.

I have found the comments in my personal e-mail. I’m notified of every one. One of my posts has disappeared from public view as well now with the word “aside” next to the title on my dashboard/posts section. What is going on??
Could my account have been hacked?
