Comments Disappearing

  So every time I try and leave a comment on someone’s post, it’s there for a second and then it’s gone. I’ve tried this 10-15 times on different posts, by different people and so far there is only 1 site I’ve been able to leave a comment on. I don’t know what’s happening but it’s getting really irritating so if someone knows how to fix it I’ll be very grateful.

  Hi,

  Administrators of WordPress.com sites may elect to have all incoming comments held in pending status awaiting moderation, or they may elect to only hold the first comment by an author in moderation. Comments may be held in moderation indefinitely — or, in other words, until an administrator “gets around to it.”
