comments not appearing on post page

  Hi WP, I would like posts to appear directly on my post page. However the user needs to click a link e.g. ‘8 comments’ before they can reveal the actual comments. I want the page to bypass this link and just show the comments.

  Hi there,

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

  That said, what you’re describing is how WordPress is designed to work – comments are never visible on the posts page, but only when you view the single post on its own page. To have comments visible on the front page, you’d need to use a theme that is specifically designed to work that way instead.

  The only theme I know of that works that way is P2.
