  Hey guys. I know this is probably going to be the noobest question asked here, but is it possible to build a website like Commonapp or Ucas in WordPress to streamline and centralise admission process to multiple universities?

  I’m sure something like that could be built in WordPress, but you’d need to use various plugins to add the functionality you need, and most likely you’ll need to have something custom-built by a development agency, just using WordPress as the foundation to start from. This is not likely something you’ll easily be able to put together yourself just with advice from community forums.

  And I’m not sure it will work well on WordPress.com. You’ll likely need to go with the open source version of WordPress which you can run on your own server infrastructure, or with a host who gives you the level of control over server configuration and database access that you’d need for something like that.
