Communicate with Staff Member

    It has been some time now since I had my web site transferred to my ownership (from the person who set it up for me), then lost my domain name when I neglected to arrange payment for renewal, and then regained control over my domain name. However, the pages of my site were never restored and posted to the web. I need to speak with someone about getting that done. I also have a question about financial arrangements with WordPress (and GoDaddy). Can you help me get these issues addressed?

    Which domain exactly are you referring to?
    I don’t see any custom domains under your account.

    Please also note that there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting, like GoDaddy.

    That said, if you want to know about GoDaddy’s hosting plans, you will want to contact them directly, as we have no relation with their services.

    Hello, fresatomica!

    Rabbidavidkuperman.com was created using the WordPress template and then (with a change of name from a url that contained “wordpress”) hosted by WordPress until I lost the use of the domain name and had to pay a ransom to get it back. I had been in touch with a staff member during that latter process; she told me that the pages of my site were still in the WordPress system and could simply be re-posted. However, those pages were never restored and posted to the web. I would like to have a live site that I could manage and use to attract potential clients. I need to speak with someone about getting that done. I also have a question about my financial responsibilities toward WordPress.

    I really need to speak with a staff member who could respond to those issues. Can you please put me in touch with one?
