Complete Website Switch (Payment question)

  Hello,

  I just received an email about a payment for my website coming up in May, but I switched everything over to wordpress.org last year. Why will I be charged again? Was everything transferred correctly?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Steven,

  You’re referring to your site http://www.kidmintools.com/ right? That’s a self-hosted WordPress.org site, and that’s where your domain is pointed, but your domain name itself (kidmintools.com) is still registered here at WordPress.com.

  You need to either renew the domain registration here at WordPress.com or transfer the domain entirely to another domain registrar.

  It looks like your site is currently hosted at Bluehost. If you want, you could transfer your domain to Bluehost so you have everything in one place. You can follow the guide I linked above to start the transfer from this end, and it looks like Bluehost has a guide to Transferring Your Domain to Bluehost with the steps you’d need to take on their end.
