  HI!

  I’m a new WordPress.com user and I’m really happy with my experience thus far. WordPress has come a long way since I used it last. I was just about to buy several Pro upgrades — custom domain, no-ads and a premium theme — when I discovered something unsettling: WordPress is including ComScore Beacons on my blog without my consent.

  While I understand that this is a hosted service and that analytics are both a profitable and useful, I would like to provide a site that is both fast and infringe’s on my reader’s privacy as little as possible.

  That said, I am not here to fight the privacy battle — I am more concerned that I cannot opt-out of this at a site-wide level (please correct me if I’m wrong) and that if ScoreCardBeacon.com is slow, it will drag down the performance of my entire site.

  Is there a way to opt-out of this?
