Confirmation issues

  I can’t seem to confirm using my site email. I tried to change this email to my GMAIL, but for some weird reason, Gravatar & WP are claiming it is already in use! I don’t understand that because I have only just created this GMAIL acc. Please advise. I can’t post to WP or use Gravatar until I verify.
