conflict website and blog

  My website designer used wordpress as a platform for my website hosted by hostinguk.net and now I am unable to access it to edit it. If I use jetpack to disassociate it, will the website go down and will I be able to access it again and edit using the wordpress platform but not my wordpress account?

  Disconnecting Jetpack won’t bring your site down. To access your site you can try resetting the password:

  https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password

  Since this support forum is for sites hosted at WordPress.com and yours is a self-hosted one I suggest seeking help at the WordPress.org forums.
