  Hi,

  I just had somebody refund my $47.88 person upgrade so that i could use wordpress.org.
  However i have since found out that i need domain mapping, which i need from you which is what that $47.88 includes, however when i tried to purchase it once again it said that the domain already exists and cannot be registered.
  This is my domain which i have purchased so i am a little confused.

  What is the domain URL?

  Hey there,

  If you’re wanting to use your domain at a different host, you should never cancel it at your current host – once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site:

  If you recently registered the domain, you have to wait 60 days before you are able to transfer your domain to a different host, but in the meantime, you can use the domain with your site by pointing the nameservers over to your new host:

  I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.

  Yes if you could that would be great.

  Although, i purchased the domain from godaddy.com and was simply trying to host it on wordpress.com thinking that was where i had to in order to use the /wp-admin back door to edit a custom theme.

  I spoke with somebody on chat who said that if i wanted to use a custom theme from a different site then i would have to use wordpress.org.
  I asked for my upgrade from personal to be refunded so i would have just the free account once more.

  So i still own the domain, from godaddy.com, but have only got a free wordpress account now and can’t upgrade again to get the domain mapping.

  Is this the same thing as you mean?
