Confusion on hosting, domain name and building a new site

    I have a domain bought and hosted through godaddy, and have a live site created years ago by a third party. I would like to continue to use my current domain name and use the free wordpress tools to build a new website that I can manage/edit myself. I thought I was doing this by registering/starting an account with wordpress but it keeps moving me in the direction of a blog when all I want is to be able to build a new simple site and make it live under my already owned domain name.
    This may seem like a dumb question/situation but can someone please help me make this happen?

    Your GoDaddy site is a WordPress.ORG site. We can’t help with that, but they have forums over there for support. It looks like you mistakenly opened an account here at WordPress.ORG and started http://tellurideskatecamp.wordpress.com/ but there’s no need to continue with that. Go to WordPress.ORG for help with your GoDaddy site.
