Connecting Domain name

  Because I just created my domain name today and I cannot transfer ownership to WordPress until the 10th of April. would I be able to map my domain first and then when it hits the 10th of April transfer the site to WordPress?

  Hi there,

  Yes this is correct, you can map now, and transfer later.

  The advantage to doing it this way is that once you connect your domain mapping, the transfer itself (some time later) is completely seamless and there is no effect on your site.
