Connecting family, friends,…
-
I just connect my family, my friends,… by adding their wordpress blogs into my links, my blogroll. It’s difficult for me to check their blogs. I have to check all their blogs for new post, and what happen if my friends list is more than 50?
Why are there no feature to help us??? Such as update the summaries, links from new posts of my friends, or alert me when there are new posts in their blogs? And my blog appear all the contents of posts. It’s better if there is summary configuration, just display the summaries.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are they wordpress.COM blogs?
Subscribe to the RSS feeds for their blogs, or get them to set up email subscription updates through feedburner. http://support.wordpress.com/email-subscriptions/

Thank you very much!
But it’s not the way I want!
If I subscribe to the RSS feeds for their blogs, how about their private info, news, posts?
I like the way that Yahoo! 360 used to do! -

1. They don’t want to set up email subscription
2. If I have to connect to more than 50 users, subscribing to RSS feeds for their blogs makes my side bars too long -
Private blogs do not have RSS feeds, and you cannot do email subscriptions for private blogs because the email subscriptions pull off of the RSS feed.
The reason for this is that all the people involved in the RSS standards cannot agree on a way to provide secured RSS for private or members only sites.
My only suggestion is for all of you to email the others when you post something new.
