Connecting site

    I have a site I would like to connect with wordpress so I can start blogging.

    Hi there,

    Do you mean you have a WordPress site hosted somewhere else?

    To connect a self-hosted WordPress site to your WordPress.com account you need to install the Jetpack plugin – I can already see two Jetpack-connected sites in the account you’re using to post here.

    A connection to WordPress.com is not a prerequisite to blogging, though. That connection just provides you with some features available on WordPress.com, and makes it possible for people to subscribe to your blog using their WordPress.com accounts.
