considering beginning a blog site

  (1) Would I be able to post sketches, photos, with writings, for example sketches above writings or with writing over?

  Hi there,

  As long as it’s in an image file format, you’ll be able to add it to your content. You can align your images to text wraps above and below it, or to the left or the right of the image if the image is not too wide.

  And the new editor that’s currently only available via the WP-Admin page of your site has what’s called a Cover Block. With that block you can add in an image, and then type text that will appear over the image.
