    • Uptime monitoring (we know before you do when your site goes down)

WordPress.com runs on thousands of servers located in several separate data centers in different parts of the US and around the world. We’re not perfect and we do occasionally experience problems, but our network is designed so that sites continue working even when servers or parts of the network fail. Outages are rare and brief.

If there is ever a major outage or any scheduled maintenance it will be posted at https://automatticstatus.com/

Please check out our support page for more information:

    • Daily website and database backups

Backups occur every 24 hours – backups and restore features are available in plugin-enabled plans. For more information, please visit:

    https://wordpress.com/support/restore/

Here is information on exporting as a way to backup for all plans:

We take the security of your account and site very seriously. For more information on the way we handle security updates, please visit our security page here: https://wordpress.com/support/security/

    • An hour (roughly) of content or design updates

I’m not too sure what you are referring to with this one. Please elaborate on this feature and I’d be happy to answer.

    • Monthly traffic and audience report from Google Analytics—a summary of your visitors and where they come from

You must have a paid plan to use Google Analytics on WordPress.com, but we do support this feature for sites hosted here:

    Connect to Google Analytics

    • Monthly keyword, site health and backlink analysis report—a window into how your site is performing in search

If you purchase a plugin enabled plan, I would recommend Yoast Premium as it fit to address all of your SEO needs:

Purchase Yoast SEO Premium Directly on WordPress.com

    • Set-aside consulting time if any questions arise

Yes, we have what we call Quick Start sessions where we can consult with you in regard to your site. You can read more about it here:

    https://wordpress.com/support/quickstart-support/

In general, we do provide support through these forums, via email, and even live chat if you have a paid plan.

For the different ways we provide support, please visit our support page:
