Contact form flat help

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I am testing my contact form to see if i receive any emails when i fill it out from my word press website.
I type in my name, email, and description, but when I check my email, i only receive the code and not the actual message.
This is how the contact form is edited on my wordpress:
TO: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
FROM: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    SUBJECT: [your-subject]
    ADDITIONAL: Reply-To: [your-email]

Then when I try to send an email to myself from my site, the code above is all I get. I dont get the actual message I wrote.

    How can I fix this?
    Thank you

  • Hi there,

Your site is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the self-hosted version of WordPress and it is hosted by SiteGround. It also looks like you’re using the plugin Contact Form 7. Therefore, I suggest contacting the plugin’s author:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/contact-form-7

We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with a self-hosted WordPress site you can ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the self-hosted WordPress.org you can read this article:
