Contact form is not working

  I added a contact form and the code reads like this on my edit page:

  [contact-form subject='New Message from HS Writing'][contact-field label='Name' type='name' required='1'/][contact-field label='Email' type='email' required='1'/][contact-field label='Website' type='url'/][contact-field label='Comment' type='textarea' required='1'/][/contact-form]

  But when I view the page I see this:

  [contact-form subject=’New Message from HS Writing’][contact-field label='Name' type='name' required='1'/<span id='800ff7f5-2d84-40a3-80aa-34435ca943c5' class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">/][contact-field label='Email' type='email' required='1'/<span id='6096865b-8184-4cc3-aa1b-f434b4ff91e4' class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">/][contact-field label='Website' type='url'/<span id='4bb3c29f-32d3-4e45-bbca-1985e125b34a' class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">/][contact-field label='Comment' type='textarea' required='1'/<span id='ecd7498c-121c-4d87-a679-c609c3c82f5b' class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">/][/contact-form]

  Are you putting it in the Visual editor or the HTML editor?

  The visual editor – should I switch to HTML and then add the form?
