Contact Form Messages

  For the last day all my contact form messages have been filtered as spam. I’ve not received email notifications of new messages as they have been sent straight to the spam folder. I have never had this problem before. Please advise.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What email provider are you using? You do not need to post your email, just the @_______ part (@gmail.com, @hotmail.com, etc)

  Thanks for your reply. I am using @gmail.com
  When I check in the feedback area of my wordpress admin panel it tells me that Askimet has blocked the messages as spam

  Ah, I believe I was confused. Are you saying that akismet was blocking these messages as spam, not your email provider?

  My apologies.

  I will use your contact form as a test, please let me know if the message gets through.

  Hi, thanks for sending the test. It didn’t come through to my email. I checked within the feedback section of my wordpress admin panel. It has been sent straight to the spam folder. I have since marked it as ‘not spam’. Thanks for your help with this so far.

  So, the short answer is that Akismet seems to be confused as to what is spam and what is not. In theory, marking things as “not spam” should retrain it in short order.

  Could you keep an eye on it and give me a few updates over the next week or so?
