contacting support by email

Hello, for some reason, as administrator, I have not been receiving comments in my email, followers, or likes, nothing comes in to my email from my blog. I have gone over the instructions, even unchecked everything, and started over rechecking everything,. Nothing seems to work. I’ve had my computer buddy go in and try to figure it out and he couldn’t do it either. Seems to be some gremlin or some snafu that is going on. I did see where other folks have had this same problem from time to time.

We’ve struggled with this for several weeks now. Can you help?
    Thanks so much

    Hi there,

Sorry to hear this has been troubling you for several weeks! I checked our records, and over the past couple weeks we’ve sent you a number of emails that include notifications about post changes, comments, likes, and new followers. Those emails were accepted by your email provider for delivery.

If those emails aren’t getting into your email inbox, it’s possible your email provider is experiencing a snafu or they are being funneled or filtered out somewhere. (It sounds like you’ve probably already checked, but just to be sure I’d recommend looking to see if those emails are ending up in a specific folder in your email, including a junk/spam folder.) Since we’re showing the emails as successfully delivered to your email provider, your next best bet (assuming those emails are nowhere to be found in your email account) is to content your email provider to find out what’s happening after they receive those emails.

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Whoops, I meant that your best bet is to “contact” your email provider. Sorry for the typo. :)

so, you believe that because I’m not getting any emails from my blog, that it’s because good old rotten comcast is thinking they’re spam and not delivering them to me. Oh boy, that is nothing new with comcast.

It’s a real bummer. :/ But everything on our end indicates that Comcast received those emails from us, so there’s not much I can do at this stage except wish you luck with them. (Or encourage you to try another email provider if you’re having trouble with your Comcast email. You can update your account email address in your account settings.)

If Comcast asks for anything more from WordPress.com to help them sort out the email issue, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

Okay, thanks for letting me know, I never thought it was goofy comcast. Unfortunately, there are contracts here and the other two providers are far worse than comcast. However, I will contact them and see if there’s anything they can do. Frustrating to say the least.
