Hi,
When you construct a menu, if you want the items to link to something you’ve got to enter a “link URL.” Some of your menu items aren’t linked to anything. This confuses WordPress.com, and the result is that it will sometimes open the homepage when you click on one of those links, but it might temporarily assign a post or something else to one or all of those links, depending upon the visitor’s movements on the site.
Here’s how your menu items now stand, regarding links:
- Home — linked to the site URL, https://shespeakstrueblog.wordpress.com/
- About — also line to the site URL, because this has been assigned as your static front page at Customize > Static Front Page
- Blog — no link
- Video — no link
- Shop — no link
- Contact — linked to the posts page, because you’ve assigned the Contact page as your posts page at Customize > Static Front Page
