Content Encoding Error…

    I’m not even sure how I was able to get in my acct,profile, etc. but everything I do via links the leads to:

    Content Encoding Error-The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

    I made a new blog for testing and published it. And it says it was published but for testing purposes again, the preview change goes to the above message. Shortlink to supposedly-published blog today-http://wp.me/pMhbJ-V- also called Holga~Holga if you want to search….

    I’ve updated FF, is there anything else I may do on my part?

    I’m sorry you ran into issues. Can you please try clearing your cache? Do you also encounter this problem in a different browser? for example Google Chrome?

    Could you also let us know some information about your environment?

    – Operating system and its version
    – Browser type and its version

    Thank you much for replying….I was able to access here through acct. Still dont know how that happens….Yes I will clear cache, want to post needed info before do that.

    IE browser does the same
    Microsoft Windows Vista
    Firefox Browser 6.0.1.
    Java enabled
    Cookies enabled
    Flash Version 10….

    I did notice the theme I.m using was compatible with FF 3.+ which is made by Mike Purdy. The themes don’t preview. so I can’t try another.

    Helloooo?

    I cleared cache-still recieve the same message.

    I put the wordpress.com in my bookmarks- that page does come up and am able to sign in. still same message when click on the links-such as in the Help menu. BUT I can get here through the link ‘community forums’ under help. the rest of links do not work.

    another odd thing. I can click on one of the tag links in my email, and it takes me to that blog, in this case Holga~Holga….The shortlink takes me to the error-content encoding error, etc.

    I retract the statement of getting to blog by tag in email none of them work now….

    I am beginning to have thoughts of it not working again at all. I will wait another day or two see what happens here.

    Please try enabling both first and third-party cookies in Firefox and let us know if that helps.

    I’ve had those checked to accept in custom settings….Nothing, same error….

    I found a suggestion on yahoo-tried it. and it seems to work, I’m able to click on any link.
    Im not sure if/or/what effects will be on anything else….I kept a written to go back if need
    too….It does seem related to ff, but then again i really know nothing about those kind of subjects….I hope this be okay to put link in here….
