Content not showing on a static front page?

  I’ve created a site named ‘home’ and put some content in it. When I open it it works fine, everything is there, but then when I want to set it as the static front page I can’t see any of the content. I have tried using different templates, making a site ‘blog’ but still no improvement.

  What could be the problem?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The problem is that is a blog POST not a PAGE. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  Yes, but I needed to make a page named ‘blog’ or anything in the lines of that, so I can choose it when I’m choosing a static front page and a page with posts.
