content not showing on pages

  I’ve created a new page – but the content will not show. I’ve got all the settings correct from what I can see… PUBLIC, PUBLISHED etc.

  but still it appears as though nothing is there. http://withoutashepherd.com/portfolio/

  Hi there,

  The portfolio page — the page where the permalink to the page uses the page slug “portfolio” as in http://withoutashepherd.com/portfolio/ — is a special page. When portfolio projects are enabled in your site’s writing settings (under Settings > Writing in the WP Admin dashboard), the page content is replaced automatically by your new portfolio projects.

  You can create new portfolio projects under Portfolio > Add New in your WP Admin dashboard. Those new projects will appear automatically on that page.

  If you’d like the contents of that page to appear there, instead of your portfolio projects, you can change the page’s permalink to use a page slug other than “portfolio” — since that permalink is reserved for displaying your portfolio projects.
