Might have something to do with the domain mapping you bought for thebestiarybell.com
Primary Blog is Set
thebestiarybell.com is set as the primary domain for thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.
Are you wanting to map thebestiarybell.com to a different blog?
If so we need the other blog name so the staff can help you

when i created thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com i had been hoping to actually change the name of my registered blog (from thebestiarybell.com TO thebestiarydancing.com).
but i found i couldn’t do that and instead, accidentally, created a new blog. this would be no big deal to me, if not for:
the content from the sites, accessible thru the dashboard, have been swapped entirely. (ie now, when i try to add image/content to thebestiarybell.com i can only do so thru the dashboard of thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com).
it’s fine that “thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com” is mapped to thebestiarybell.com.
only, why has the content been swapped?!
many thanks for your help. -
Hi there – let’s try to sort this out.
It looks like thebestiarybell.com is mapped to http://thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com.
The only other site I see on your account is http://thebestiarybell.wordpress.com – which is empty.
Could you give me one or two specific examples of some “swapped content” so we can investigate futher? Thanks.
(ie now, when i try to add image/content to thebestiarybell.com i can only do so thru the dashboard of thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com).
With thebestiarybell.com mapped to thebestiarydancing.wordpress.com, what you describe sounds normal, as they are actually the same site.
Is there a third site involved here, and if so, what is its address?
i had been hoping to actually change the name of my registered blog (from thebestiarybell.com TO thebestiarydancing.com).
In order to do that, you would need to register a new domain. If you already bought the domain, you can map it to your site following these instructions. If you’d like to register a new domain, these are the instructions.
