  How can I include contributors on my blog without having to invite them via email?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The only way to add users to your blog is to invite them, there is no way to force a user to join the blog.

  I am not seeking to “force” a “user” to “join” my blog. I want to be able to post guest commentary from interested “contributors,” not “users,” who are happy to allow me to post their work, but are joining my blog.

  So I am not trying to add users. I’m trying to publish guest commentary under the name of the authors, rarher than my name.

  Ah, there unfortunately is no way to do that. You can add a note at the start or end of the post identifying the true author, but there is no way to switch your name when publishing the post.
