Controlled viewership of new blog

  I recently added a new blog to my site. I want to control who adds that to their news feed/follows it. How do I do that? At the moment the settings are a private blog.
  Do people already following me automatically get access to this site as well?

  Followers are site based, not user account based. So any followers on your existing sites would not automatically follow your new site.

  If you have your site set to be private, then you are in complete control of who can see and follow it. You need to specifically invite them in order for them to do so.
