Controlling your blog name on google?
-
Hi,
How do you stop the phrase “get your free blog here” to stop showing on google next to your blog’s name? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is what I see > http://tinyurl.com/c9z7xau We cannot control what Google displays and all search engine issues are between the blogger and the search engine.

Hi:
Thanks so much for getting back to me. That looks great but I am sorry I am very confused, that it is not what appears on google when I do it? For instance, when I pop into Google Search my name, “stem cells,” and “wordpress,” the following is what appears for me:
“adult stem cells « Cynthia Fox – WordPress.com — Get a Free Blog …”
Do you see? Many thanks again.

Now I see what you mean here > http://tinyurl.com/bsqekjx and that sucks. I have flagged this thread for a Staff explanation.

The blog is only 6 days old with one Page and one Post – Google does strange things with new blogs – I started a new history site the first of the year and Google did real odd things with the search returns for the first few weeks.
