  I am using joomla for my non WordPress site and want to convert to WordPress

  Hi,

  This is possible, there are a number of Joomla>WordPress importing plugins. However, to use them on WordPress.com, you would need to upgrade to the Business site plan:

  Then you would follow these instructions:

  https://wordpress.com/go/website-building/how-to-move-from-joomla-to-wordpress-com/

  Another option would be to set up a localhost WordPress install on your computer, install a Joomla>WordPress plugin,and import the Joomla content. Once that has been done successfully, you should be able to export that content from WordPress as a standard WP export and then import it here to WordPress.com.
