Copy my blogs
-
Hello,
I have written blogs since 2005 and there are now many articles. I would like to know if it’s possible to download / copy all my articles into WORD file? Such as I can save it in my own computer and keep them forever. Because I am scared one day the website doesn’t work and I will lose all my articles. All my blogs are very important to me but I don’t have any copies before in computer. Please let me know the best way to help with.
Thank you a lot!
Lisa

You can copy/paste but that would be a lot of work. I believe there is a plugin that transfers blog content into word docs but that only works with self-hosted WordPress.org sites. The easiest way to make sure you’ve always got your own backup of your site is to save an .xml file of your content using “Tools” “Export”. If every WordPress.com server crashed (unlikely unless we suddenly have WW3 or the Martians invade) then you’d be able to restore your stuff.
Or if you type something like “turn blog into a pdf” into a search engine you find loads of places that will do just that (using the .xml file you’ve saved). The only one I’ve tried, and had reasonable success with, was https://www.blogbooker.com/
