Copying and Pasting

  How can I copy and paste (one of my other documents in computer) to create a new post? I’ve tried control C and control P and it doesn’t work.

  Isn’t paste Ctrl V?? Are you copying and pasting from Word? It is always preferable to type straight into the WordPress.com post editor if at all possible. If you must oopy from Word make sure you are using the Visual editor. https://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/

  Yes, I was using control V. What is the Visual editor? If I type straight on wordpress, I’m frustrated because I can’t single space my poetry, or customize the poem.

  I have an app on my I pad called pages, where I write. Then I’ve tried to copy and paste onto wordpress, or send as an email tomyself, then copy and paste. Frustrating.
