Correct the wrong Domain that I mapped earlier
-
Dear support team,
I upgraded to a Premium plan and successfully Mapped the domain as “booking.pleasure.nyc” for several months already.
Recently I just realized that was done wrong, I should have mapped “pleasure.nyc” as my domain!!! Since that “booking.pleasure.nyc” is limited to sub-domain. (Also with this mistake, like Email Forward or Edit DNS are wrong too in my Domain settings.. since it would expect email like “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” not “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” )
Can you help correcting this error?? So that my domain can be “pleasure.nyc” instead of “booking.pleasure.nyc”.
Appreciate your help.

Hi there,
Sure thing! I can fix that for you. However, you’ll need to adjust the domain settings with your domain registrar for the domain pleasure.nyc to work on your site.
Right now, your domain is set up so only booking.pleasure.nyc is pointed to your site. To point the whole domain pleasure.nyc to your site, you’ll need to update the domain’s name servers to these:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
It looks like you registered the domain with Network Solutions, in which case that’s where you’ll need to make this change. It looks like you can make that change here:
https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/edit-nameservers.jsp
Network Solutions also has more details in their guide to Move DNS to a new server.
Once that’s done, let me know and I’ll update the domain on this end so instead of booking.pleasure.nyc your site is linked to pleasure.nyc. Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

Hello,
This was done. Now pleasure.nyc DNS points to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com and ns3.wordpress.com as you instructed.
Could you help fixing it now?? Appreciate it.

Hi there,
Thanks for letting me know! I updated your domain upgrade to pleasure.nyc, so your site is now at that address: http://pleasure.nyc/
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Works great. Even the Google Mail piece was setup correctly so no service interruption as I can see. You are the best.
Thanks a lot.
