    The renewal costs are the same as the original purchase cost – so I would expect domain registration to be about $ 5.– next year – WordPress.COM might raise it a bit – but I would expect no more than maybe 4 1.–

    The other part of the package is Domain Mapping if you want to map your custom domain name to your blog here $ 13.– a year – again I would expect about the same cost – maybe a $ 1.– more

    I have been here a few years and the costs seem to be modest – no loss leader for the first year then stick it to you for the renewal
