Could I change the domain xyz.wordpress.com to something.wordpress.com

  Hi Team,

  I found a name for my blog, and it shows this:

  wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  But when I try to change the my wordpress name to that, it says it’s taken.

  Could you please guide me how to do that?

  You can’t use thet wordpress.com subdomain as wordpress.com doesn’t allow the reuse of deleted subdomains.

  A possible solution is to go for our Personal Plan where you get a custom domain free for the first year.
