  How can I adjust the settings so that the views by me are not counted as views ?

  Correct account: Yes

  HI,

  https://wordpress.com/support/stats/ explains about how the view is counted.

  How Traffic is Counted
  The following traffic will not reflect in your stats:
  -Visits you make to your own publicly-available site while logged into your WordPress.com account.

  To add to what Shwetha mentioned, it can be worth checking your browser privacy settings, in case any tracking protection is active when you visit the site. If our cookies can’t track that you’re logged in on WordPress.com while viewing the site, then your view may end up being counted in the stats. There’s some more information about that here:
