Crazy Egg plug-in

I want to be able to use a plug-in for Crazy Egg.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
However, we do have some really cool widgets. Perhaps one of those might meet your needs?

Kardotim: But there is not a widget that allows the crazy egg tool to track page navigation, so this doesn’t help. The point of my original message was a request to the WordPress team for a widget/plugin/whatever…not if there was one or why there wasn’t.
That’s the direction I was pointed by WordPress–to request it.

Do you mean tracking the statistics of page visits? Note that we do track Site Stats, more information can be found at http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats .
There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.

I appreciate the suggestion and the stats tool, but the CrazyEgg service provides a different, more visual representation of traffic and user choices on a given web page. It’s expecially helpful when comparing two versions of a web page to see the different nagivation patterns/choices of users. But if something isn’t available to allow for the code to be inserted to the page or a widget isn’t available, I can live with it.
