    with my site I need a database to collect the name of students, the course they have selected the location of the course as well as the date, we then can select dates of the course to create a class list?? how can I do this

    The only way to collect information like that on a regular WordPress.com site is by using a contact form:

    Contact form submissions can be exported as a .csv file which you can then open and edit in any spreadsheet software.

    If you actually want to host and work with the database directly on your site you’ll need to upgrade to our Business Plan so you can install an appropriate plugin to add that functionality to your site.
