create a subdomain

hi, I am trying to create a subdomain. The website’s domain’s DNS registered with IWF, but was created on WordPress. I am trying to create a subdomain for the website, and tried to follow the link (https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-subdomain/), but I am unable to access the domains page (https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/) because it says I do not have a website with them, but I clearly do, since I have a dashboard.

If your domain is registered elsewhere, you’ll want to access the DNS records on your registrar’s side.
Could you let us know which domain exactly are you referring to? We’ll have a look and advise better :). -

The links that you mentioned in your original post apply only to sites hosted on our WordPress.com servers.
However, the site atreapps.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on https://gwhois.org/atreapps.com+dns Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and https://gwhois.org/atreapps.com+dns also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
In the case of your domain, because you are hosted at GoDaddy, they would also be the ones to help you with creating a subdomain, as well as with any questions you have about your sites with them. GoDaddy support can be reached here
