Create website without domain

  Hi.

  Is it possible to create an WordPress website with elementor without the domain?

  I want to upgrade an already existing website without having to shut down the site in a week or two while creating the new one. And when the site is finished I want to register it to my domain.

  Hope somebody can give me a good answer here

  Yes, you can do this. In order to use the Elementor page building plugin our business plan is going to be required. That is at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  You can add the plan to your account and build the site, using the page builder plugin, on the free .wordpress.com site that we give you. Once the site is ready to go live, you’ll connect the domain.

  There’s 2 ways to connect the domain to WordPress.com.
  1. Map it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. Transfer it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  Once the business plan is added to your account you’ll get 24/7 live chat support via https://wordpress.com/help/contact/

  Any questions about Elementor will need to be brought to them as we can’t support their plugin.
