Creating a New Page in a Subdomain

  I already have created the subdomain. But I cannot find out how to actually put post and/or pages in it. (1) Do I have to wait until it propagates to do it? (2) I presume I need to find a theme first, but then (3) Where do I go on the Dashboard to create a New Page? for the Subdomain, not the main site (I already have been doing that!).
