Creating a new web site for a 2nd business

    I currently have a website for a business called JD&Cwork options thru word press. I would like to create a new website for another company i own. i have purchased my domain name thru name cheap but i want to do my website thru wordpress. what is the next thing i need to do

    What is the address of the site you have? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites hosted on WordPress.com.

    Most likely your site was created using the open source WordPress software. That is not the same thing as WordPress.com. If you’d like to create another site using that software, the best option is to contact your hosting provider for the existing site – chance are your hosting plan for them allows you to host multiple sites on the same plan, in which case they can help you set up a second site in your account.

    If you want to use that domain with a site hosted on WordPress.com, go to https://wordpress.com/start/site/ to create a site. Upgrade to any of our paid plans, and then you’ll be able to connect the domain here using our domain mapping upgrade:
