Creating a Password on Security Tab

    I have been trying to create a password for my blog on the security tab. Every password I try I get the same response including when I use the “Generate strong password” button on the page. The response is, “You’ve recently used this password. Try something new.” Has anybody else run into this issue. I am using a Firefox browser.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Are you referring to the password for your WordPress.com account, at https://wordpress.com/me/security/? WordPress.com passwords are set at the account level, not the site level.

    Please clear your browser cache and try again. If you’re using any browser add-ons that might be blocking JavaScript, like an ad-blocker, also see if disabling that helps, or else see if it helps to log in using a different browser or using Private Mode.
