Creating a postage label comparison website

    Hi, I was wondering how I would create a website that would be able to do something like Parcel2Go, where you can pick a postage label and then purchase a label to then get it automatically generate it. Many thanks

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    It may be possible to do this with a specific set of plugins.

    To assist with pointing you in the right direction can you tell me if you’re looking to sell products on the site or just work with the shipping aspect of other sellers?

    Hello, Thank you for your response, i am looking to sell digital products that other online sellers or members of the pubic can use to send parcels, the prime example is parcel2go where you can link it to eBay or use it as a one off and then it will automatically import items and then you choose a service, label etc… and then pay for the label.

    Hi there,

    I think it will help to be honest in saying that this specific example (Parcel2Go) will be difficult to recreate without the help of a professional, as there are not any “off the shelf” plugins I know of to create a site with that kind of complexity.

    Plugins do exist for creating product comparisons, but they are usually for much simpler A/B comparisons between products in your “store” such as https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-products-compare/

    The Parcel2Go looks like it’s doing something different in that it’s taking parcel info and entering it into several different courier companies to see where the best price is. There is not an existing plugin or suite of plugins that can do that (feed info into several courier sites and return the results) at least that I am aware of.

    It may be useful to do a general search on “WordPress Comparison Sites” to see how these are typically created, but it’s not something that we’re able to assist with I’m afraid.
